Galaxy Digital Listed On Nasdaq under GLXY

On May 16, 2025, Galaxy Digital began trading on the NASDAQ under the ticker symbol GLXY, following more than three and a half years of battling for approval from the SEC. It was a long and bumpy journey, but they made it!
Galaxy Digital was initially listed on the TSX in 2020, and it will maintain its listing there for the time being.
The company operates two main lines of business:
Services include trading, lending, asset management, and infrastructure for the digital asset ecosystem.
Data center operations focused on supporting AI.
The new Trump administration has adopted a friendly stance toward digital and crypto assets, opening the floodgates for IPOs and M&A activity in this industry.
In 2021, KGA's portfolio company Vision Hill was acquired by Galaxy Digital. See previous post here.
